Empowering African Entrepreneurs to Build, Scale, and Transform Communities

Mazano Hub accelerates African entrepreneurship through capital access, mentorship, and ecosystem building — creating sustainable enterprises that drive community impact.

What is Mazano Hub?

Mazano Hub is a nonprofit business incubator dedicated to accelerating African entrepreneurship through targeted support and ecosystem building. We work with early-stage entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa — with a primary focus on Zimbabwe — providing the tools, capital, mentorship, and networks they need to build lasting enterprises.

Our programs are grounded in a clear theory of change: when entrepreneurs gain access to capital, mentorship, and professional networks, they build sustainable businesses that create jobs, generate revenue, and transform their communities from the inside out.

We do not simply fund ideas. We walk alongside founders through every phase of growth — from validating a concept to scaling operations — with structured curriculum, hands-on guidance, and a community of peers and mentors who understand the African business landscape.

Early-Stage Entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa

Mazano Hub serves founders at the earliest and most vulnerable stage of their business journey. Our primary geographic focus is Zimbabwe, with plans to expand across Sub-Saharan Africa as the model proves out. We prioritize ventures with clear community impact — businesses that create local jobs, serve underserved markets, and build economic resilience from the ground up.

Kingdom Entrepreneurs

Our programs are rooted in faith-based values. We equip Kingdom entrepreneurs who integrate biblical principles of honesty, stewardship, and servant leadership into their business practices. This is not business for profit alone — it is business as ministry, aligning commercial goals with the call to serve others and strengthen communities.

Studio Space & Facilities

The 2,100 sqm Mazano Hub in Harare exists and is in use. The co-working studio provides a professional environment where entrepreneurs can focus, collaborate, and build. Grant-funded infrastructure upgrades are underway to eliminate the power and connectivity challenges that derail so many early-stage ventures.

The facility currently runs on grid power, a modest existing solar system, fiber internet, and independent borehole water. Planned upgrades — 22kW off-grid solar with 88kWh battery storage, and Starlink satellite internet — will make the facility fully independent of Zimbabwe's national grid and telecom infrastructure before Cohort 1 launches in Q2 2026.

Measurable Community Change

Structured incubation programs dramatically improve business survival rates across Sub-Saharan Africa. Research consistently shows that entrepreneurs who receive combined support — capital, training, and mentorship — outperform those who receive any single intervention alone.

Our diaspora mentors bring a unique advantage: they understand both African market realities and global business standards. This dual perspective helps founders avoid common pitfalls while positioning their ventures for international competitiveness.

Every incubated business is tracked against clear impact metrics: jobs created, revenue growth, community services enabled, and long-term sustainability. We report transparently to our donors and stakeholders because accountability drives trust and trust drives impact.
