Meet the People Behind the Mission

A lean, mission-driven team building the infrastructure for African entrepreneurship. Leadership from the diaspora, operations on the ground.

Our Team

Founder

Rob Samupindi

Vision, Strategy & Governance

Zimbabwe / USA

Rob founded Mazano Hub with a vision to create a faith-driven incubator that equips African entrepreneurs with the tools, mentorship, and capital they need to build sustainable businesses. A Zimbabwean-born entrepreneur and technologist based in the United States, Rob brings experience spanning technology, geospatial analysis, and nonprofit leadership. He oversees Mazano's strategic direction, governance framework, and technical architecture.

Executive Director

Irene Samupindi

Partnerships, Funder Relations & Program Oversight

Zimbabwe / USA

Irene leads Mazano's external engagement — representing the incubator to funders, faith community partners, and diaspora networks. She owns funder relations, signs Mazano's letters of inquiry and grant proposals, and coordinates partnership development across the United States and Zimbabwe. As Cohort 1 approaches, Irene is the primary point of contact for foundations, corporate giving programs, and church partners exploring support for Mazano's work.

Zimbabwe

Program Coordinator — Stan

Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Reporting

Harare, Zimbabwe ·

Stan is Mazano's operational backbone on the ground in Zimbabwe. He manages day-to-day program delivery — from bootcamp logistics and mentor scheduling to cohort tracking and impact reporting. Stan ensures every founder in our programs receives consistent, high-quality support as we prepare for Cohort 1.

USA

Fundraising Coordinator — Shingie

Grant Writing, Donor Relations & Outreach

United States (Remote) ·

Shingie drives Mazano's revenue engine — writing grant applications, cultivating donor relationships, managing crowdfunding campaigns, and coordinating diaspora outreach. Her work is critical to securing the funding needed to launch Cohort 1 and sustain ongoing operations.

Our Values

Stewardship

Every dollar, every hour, every relationship is a trust. We manage resources with the discipline and transparency our donors and entrepreneurs deserve.

Servant Leadership

We lead by serving. The founders in our programs are not clients — they are the mission. Every decision starts with what's best for them.

Excellence

Good enough isn't. We build programs, systems, and partnerships that meet international standards — because African entrepreneurs deserve world-class support.

Community Impact

Business is a vehicle for transformation. Every venture we support must create jobs, serve communities, and build economic resilience beyond the founder.

How We Work

01

Diaspora + Ground

Strategic leadership from the diaspora. Day-to-day operations on the ground in Zimbabwe. Two continents, one mission, constant communication.

02

Lean & Accountable

Small team, high output. Every role exists because the mission requires it. We report transparently to donors, partners, and the entrepreneurs we serve.

03

Faith-Driven Culture

Biblical principles guide our governance, hiring, and partnerships. We build with integrity, pray over decisions, and measure success by lives transformed — not just metrics.
