OPENING Q2 2026 — The 2,100 sqm Harare facility exists and is in use by the Mazano team. Infrastructure resilience upgrades (22kW solar + Starlink) are underway ahead of Cohort 1. Support the upgrade →
A 2,100 sqm Harare Facility Being Upgraded for Cohort 1
Our Harare building is real, functioning, and ready for founders. Grant funding is powering the infrastructure upgrades — 22kW off-grid solar and Starlink satellite internet — that will make it fully resilient before the Next Step Bootcamp Cohort 1 launches in Q2 2026.
Starlink Internet UPGRADE IN PROGRESS
The facility currently runs on fiber internet. Grant funding will enable the upgrade to dual Starlink Business kits with mesh Wi-Fi covering every zone — removing dependency on local ISPs entirely.
Off-Grid Solar
The facility has a modest existing solar setup and grid power. The planned upgrade — 22kW peak solar with 88kWh lithium battery storage — will run the full facility for 8-10 hours without sun and eliminate grid dependency entirely.
Full Kitchen

Why This Matters
The Problem
- 01 Zimbabwe averages 18+ hours of power cuts daily in some areas. Businesses can't operate.
- 02 Broadband is expensive, slow, and unreliable. Entrepreneurs can't access global markets.
- 03 Professional workspace is scarce and unaffordable for early-stage founders.
- 04 Long work hours with no access to meals or basic amenities reduce productivity.
Our Solution
- 01 Planned upgrade: 22kW off-grid solar with 88kWh battery storage — replacing the existing modest solar to eliminate grid reliance.
- 02 Planned upgrade: Dual Starlink satellite dishes with mesh Wi-Fi — replacing the current fiber link for true infrastructure independence.
- 03 Already in place: Borehole water supply — fully independent of municipal supply.
- 03 2,100 sq meters of purpose-built workspace across co-working, offices, and flex space.
- 04 Full commercial kitchen feeding entrepreneurs so they can focus on building.
