Cohort 1 Applications Open Q4 2026
A 6-month incubation program for early-stage African entrepreneurs. Workspace, mentorship, micro-grants, and a clear path from idea to investor-ready venture.
What You Get
World-Class Workspace
Full access to Mazano Hub — co-working, private offices, manufacturing lab, conference rooms, and kitchen. Grant-funded upgrades (Starlink satellite internet + 22kW off-grid solar) are part of the current ask and will come online before Cohort 1 launches Q2 2026.
Micro-Grants
Two tiers of non-dilutive, zero-equity funding: $2,000–$5,000 per venture for active Bootcamp cohort participants (mid-program, milestone-gated), and up to $50,000 per qualifying graduate for post-Bootcamp ventures demonstrating traction.
Structured Education
The Next Step curriculum covering business foundations, growth, capital access, and sustainability. Bi-weekly workshops, peer learning circles, and 1:1 mentorship.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a cost to participate?
No. The program is fully funded. Mazano does not charge tuition and takes zero equity in your business.
Can I participate remotely?
Yes. The program is available in-person at Mazano Hub in Harare or remotely via video link. In-person participants get full workspace access.
What stage does my business need to be?
Early-stage — from ideation to 12 months of operation. You need a viable concept and commitment to the program, not revenue.
How are micro-grants awarded?
Mid-program, a review committee evaluates milestone progress and demonstrated need. Grants are non-dilutive — no equity or repayment required.
Is Mazano faith-based? Do I need to be Christian?
Mazano is rooted in Christian values of stewardship, servant leadership, and generosity. Entrepreneurs of all backgrounds are welcome — we seek alignment with these principles, not a specific faith requirement.
What happens after the program?
90-day post-cohort check-ins, continued mentorship, investor follow-through support, and lifetime access to the Mazano alumni network.
